LocoPops

In Durham, the first gorgeous day of spring means a trip to LocoPops for paletas (or Popsicles). If I was a bank officer, I'm not sure I would approve the business loan for a store that only sells Popsicles. But, wow, am I glad someone did. They're our new favorite sweet treat. Our devotion to them rivals our love for Jake's Ice Cream in Atlanta (sadly, no longer as good as it used to be), which was intense. Jason out ordered me for the first time ever this weekend (lemon blackberry cream). He usually goes for the more exotic (cucumber chili). I've already got an old fav: cherry hibiscus. Yum!

Now that the weather appears to be turning permanently for the better, we'll be able to start knocking projects off our list. I think painting the front door will be the first up. The Martha Stewart paint colors below are the front runners:

What do you think?

I like the first and third paint choice best, but can't decide definitely between those two.

The first color option is my favorite.

Mmm Popsicles! Sounds fabulous.

Also, I like your home colors. They remind me of a 2nd grader's school valentine's party. In a good way. Do I really have to pick one? Okay fine...the left one.

My grandfather used to joke that he painted his front door bright red to show the world that the mortgage was paid off.

Our front door was already fire engine red when we moved in, and I really like it. It obviously conjures up memories of the small church I grew up attending, but it really does make a house seem more warm and inviting to me. It would certainly be appropriate given the style and time period of your home.
